BPL: Update on Anthony Martial Injury, Man United £150m dual pursuit, Chelsea to land former United hitman

Manchester United have said they will provide an update on Anthony Martial's injury on Friday.

The United foward was seen leaving Wembley on crutches after playing in France's 2-0 defeat to England in a friendly at Wembley last night.

The fan became furious to know the full extent of the injury, of which the club have promised to air updates on his injury which will be until the end of the week.

"It is worth stating the true severity of the injury is yet to be confirmed and (manager) Louis van Gaal is likely to provide that update during his pre-match press conference at the Aon Training Complex on Friday," a statement read.

Meanwhile, Van Gaal is preparing to hammer Martial some competition in attack by signing at least one new forward in January tranfer window.

Some reports claim he will make an ambitious swoop to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben.
The total cost of the deal could reach £150million as extimated, with Robben the most realistic option as he is understood to have fallen out of favour with Bayern team-mate Robert Lewandowski.
Reports in Turkey claim Chelsea, United english premier league rivals are lining up a bid for their former striker Robin Van Persie, just months after his exit from Old Trafford.

Van Persie moved to Fenerbahce in the summer but is understood to be unsettled.

And Jose Mourinho's side are in the market for a new striker due to the poor performance of struggling forwards Diego Costa and Radamel Falcao.
