BPL Transfer: Arsenal Keen to sign Jorginho ahead of Manchester United and Liverpool.

Arsenal sent out their lead scout to run an intel on Jorginho.

The Napoli star has discovered himself linked with a like move to Old trafford and Liverpool too, with both clubs believed to be considering tabling offers in January.

But Aresnal have been hinted they must be willing to make a big offer if they would stand a chance of landing the 23-year-old Napoli star.

“The priority is getting a call-up for the [Italy] national team, then there’s the January transfer market,” Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos told Radio CRC.
Napoli receive an irrefutable offer for Jorginho in January then it’s normal that we’d make our assessments.”

The Gunners have been given an unexpected boost in their pursuit of Jackson Martinez.

Martinez has been a long-standing target for Arsenal, although he spurned their advances to join Atletico Madrid from Porto in a £25million deal in the summer.

But Martinez’s Madrid adventure has turned sour, as he has scored just twice in 11 La Liga outings.

And when asked whether he could leave the Vicente Calderon, Martinez told Spanish radio station Radio Marca: “I try to adapt gradually, although I haven't produced as expected.

“The team has had good results. Personally I have to keep working.”

Gonzalo Higuain won’t be leaving Napoli, according to his agent.

Chelsea and Arsenal have both been hovering around the 27-year-old, although he has a £67million release clause in his contract.

But Higuain’s brother and agent Nicolas, has ruled out a move for the Argentina international.

“If tomorrow a club arrived and found an agreement with De Laurentiis it would be another matter and we would talk with him about it, but from our part that intention isn't there,” he told Italian news outletTuttoNapoli.

"We aren't planning a future elsewhere.”
