What Are the Symptoms of Prostate Cancer?

There are no early warning signs of early prostate cancer. Once a tumor causes the prostate gland to swell, or once cancer spreads beyond the prostate, the following symptoms may likely occur:
  • A person begins to feel a frequent need to urinate, especially at night
  • There will be difficulty starting or stopping a stream of urine
  • A weak or interrupted urinary stream
  • Subsequent Leaking of urine when laughing or coughing
  • Inability to urinate while standing up
  • A painful or burning sensation during urination or ejaculation
  • Mixture of blood in urine or semen     
These symptoms are caused by blockages from the cancer, growth in th prostate. These symptoms above, can be caused by urinary tract infections. See your doctor immediately and be diagnosed for cancer if you face this challenges;
  • When a person have trouble urinating or find that urination is painful or different from normal; your doctor should examine your prostate gland to determine whether it is enlarged, inflamed with an infection, or cancerous.
  • If a person begins to feel chronic pain in the lower back, pelvis, upper thighbones, or other bones. Pain in these areas can be caused by different things, including the spread of prostate cancer.
  • Rapid weight loss, that one can not actualize. 
  • Swollen legs, weakness in the legs or trouble walking, especially for someone who have constipation. 
The treatments for prostate cancer includes: surgery, chemotherapy, cryotherapy, hormonal therapy, and/or radiation. 

To reduce the risk of prostate cancer;
  1. - Make sure to participate in regular exercise. 
  2. - Make sure to limit you calories consumption; Excess calories are bad for cancer growth. Eat what you need to get to the next meal, not the usual American style of eating all you can as if you are never going to eat again.
  3. - Whatever guideline you are given, make sure not to follow to excess.
  4. - Heart disease creats top build up for prostate cancer in men. 
  5. - Keeping balanced diet, thereby accumulating varity of nutrients in meals.
  6. Food supplements are not enough, they are just substitute to  compose nutrients. Eat healthy and take fruits and vegetables.
